OMG! WATCH THE PEOPLE STARE! Top-notch quality! Look at what we are offering you! Don't you hear this baby saying Drive Me?!?!? DO NOT PASS THIS UP!!! LOOK NO FURTHER! More information about the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica: The Chrysler Pacifica starts at under $28,000, where it competes with other minivans such as the Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey, both of which it undercuts a little bit on price. However the entire minivan segment holds a ton of value, by virtue of being cheaper to own and operate than the myriad of medium and large SUVs out in the world. The Chrysler Pacifica combines a ton of space, with relatively compact and easy to park exterior dimensions, along with a curb weight that makes car-like mpg figures a reality. The Pacifica is also available with a ton of luxurious and entertaining features, which will really show their value on long road trips with children in tow. But no matter the equipment level, the new Pacifica is a fantastic value. Strengths of this model include relatively compact outer dimensions, advanced drivetrains, smooth, sleek styling, Spacious and comfortable interior, and third row seating

      Great vehicle, 8 years in

      by George C on 6/30/2026 9:16:09 PM

88K miles, very few issues. A couple of recalls (mostly software), one warranty repair for some front suspension bits, and one post-warranty repair for a front suspension part (honestly it may not have been needed; dealer wasn't that competent and the noise ended up being just a brake dust shield that needed to be bent back a little). Most city driving on battery only; on colder days with heat on, range on battery drops to ~20 or less; otherwise can consistently get 25-27 in the city on a charge. Freeway mileage OK (27mpg at 75, down to 25 for trips with extended "brisk" driving). Can hold a ton of stuff. Comfortable; two adults in 3rd row OK. Handles surprisingly well (low center of mass due to battery). For those doing mostly highway driving, this won't make much sense (get the Sienna for best mileage), but if you do a good amount of city daily driving <25 miles, this is a wonderful vehicle - all electric for these commutes, and then you have the gas motor for longer trips. Other than annual oil changes, the occasional air / cabin air filters, tires, no other maintenance thus far. Brake pads and rotors still look new. Interior has held up well. 12V battery still good. Very happy with this vehicle so far.

Dad is gonna LOVE this van!

by ChumLao on 7/9/2025 4:35:48 AM

I drive the 2024 Pacifica plug in hybrid. My particular vehicle is work issued and has a rack in the back so it only has the two front seats available for passenger and driver. I load the rack of shelves in the back with the parts to repair the devices that I fix therefore it has more than the standard amount of weight in the back for comparison. This van is fast ignore the 260 hp rating, that’s for the electric motors which are completely different than a gas driven engine that has 260 hp. The acceleration is instantaneous you want power? Ok HERE! Have some power but in a completely controlled way. The engine kicks on but its not connected to the driveline so their is no torque steer. It just goes. Think of the throttle as a “wish granter” you step on the pedal and your wish is granted. I am continually amazed at how hard this thing will pull when you step on it. I am by no means a non-aggressive driver however I am trying to be a much more of a team player when I’m out on the highway. This vehicle ends the argument instantly. “NO I am going to pass you.” That brings me to the adaptive cruise control. This is amazing stuff right here. Didn’t think I’d like it. Yeah I love it. You can set it and forget it. You can change the distance between you and the car in front of you so if traffic gets kinda heavy, you don’t have to leave a huge hole for everybody to merge into. You can also adjust the speed it maxes out at. Then there’s the drive mode called L for some reason. This is like an extra set of brakes No kidding throw this on at 70-75 miles an hour and watch the car immediately come down from speed completely under control. Add the brake pedal to the equation and it stops even faster again completely under control. Another feature of the L setting is that when put here and your driving through speed bumps or dips or severe corners in a parking lot, the suspension hunkers down, and the body roll is almost completely negated to where when you maneuver through what used to be a rather jostling ride is now completely smooth. Dips and speed bumps disappear. I have enjoyed driving my entire life, and I never thought I would like an electric vehicle. Let alone a van. I am more of a sedan / sports car / race car kinda guy. Take one of these on a test drive Find a nice long straight stretch of deserted road and get the vehicle up to 60-70 miles an hour (or whatever is safe) then put it into L and step on the brakes progressively hard (but SLOWLY) and watch just how fast this thing slows down. Remember, my review is with at least 600 pounds of equipment in the back of the van on racks. None of my items move an inch. They all stay exactly where they’re supposed to because the van doesn’t really pitch forward when you step on the brakes under L it just kind of stops very quickly. Again, try it and see if you don’t just love it. Oh and yes it does get good gas mileage, I doubt I am getting what everyone else is but I have a huge smile on my face as I enjoy this vehicle.
