MITSUBISHI Is The Most Reliable Car Brand!!!

I love my 2026 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL Touring S-AWC. We also own a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL Touring S-AWC we purchased brand new in October 2019 and it has been such a good vehicle and the most reliable vehicle me (40 years old) and my Husband (53 years old) have ever owned. We have had no issues with our 2019 in the 7 years that we have owned it and it has been the definition of reliable with only regular maintenance. After driving only Mitsubishi for years in 2023 I decided to go with something different and got a brand new 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium in October 2023. It was a great vehicle but I missed my Mitsubishi. The Kicks was great and I really liked it but I would always think about going back to Mitsubishi. People would say why do you like Mitsubishi so much and my answer would be why wouldn't I like Mitsubishi? All of the Mitsubishi's we owned were rock solid reliable, we got huge discounts on almost all of them and we bought them all new and always bought the top trim loaded model but essentially paid base trim prices!!! I just like Mitsubishi's exterior styling, dash and interior layout design vs all these long flat panel dashes and the dashboard then is so flat and plain, overall design, and warranty. I also like that Mitsubishi uses their designs and platforms for years vs making huge changes every 2 years and then you have a 2 year old vehicle that already looks old because they came out with an all new model every 2 years. Plus by Mitsubishi doing this it keeps the vehicle reliable and works out any bugs as the years go by and Toyota was known for doing this same method then they come out with all this new Turbo Hybrid iForce Max stuff and man has their reliability suffered on the Tacoma, Tundra and 4-Runner for engine and transmission issues. So I looked around for a few months and looked at several different brands to make 100% sure I wanted to go back to Mitsubishi. I looked at vehicles priced from around $27,000.00 to $40,000.00 or so and the vehicles I considered were the Buick Envista Avenir, Buick Encore GX Avenir AWD, Chevy Trax Activ, Chevy Equinox LT AWD, Chevy Bolt LT or RS, Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani, Honda HR-V EX-L AWD, Honda Accord SE, Hyundai Sonata SEL Sport AWD, Hyundai Kona Limited AWD, Hyundai Tucson SEL AWD, Kia Seltos SX AWD, Kia Sportage EX AWD, Kia K4 GT Line, Kia K5 GT Line AWD, Mazda CX-30 Aire Edition AWD, Mazda 3 Carbon AWD, Nissan Sentra SL, Subaru Crosstrek Sport or Limited AWD, Subaru Impreza RS AWD, Toyota Corolla XSE, Toyota Corolla XLE Hybrid, Toyota Corolla Cross XLE AWD, Toyota Camry LE, VW Jetta SEL, VW Taos SE AWD... I literally researched everything about all of these models and built them on their manufacturer sites and all over the months. I looked up the likes and dislikes from owners. I have learned to look up owner forms and pay far more attention to owners reviews vs car reviewers who become numb to mainstream vehicles after driving high end cars and I think most auto critics forget what 90% of buyers want in a vehicle and what matters and what does not matter. The definition of a bad car to an auto critic reviewer is not the definition of a bad car to me. Anyway I compared all of these vehicles to the Eclipse Cross SEL Touring S-AWC fully loaded top trim and compared exterior styling and interior looks, colors, features, warranty, reliability, dash layout, exterior lighting, owner reviews, and more and in the end I could not beat the overall features for the price (over $6,000.00 off MSRP) after all the huge rebates and discounts plus the 10 year warranty to go with that for the Eclipse Cross. So of all the vehicles I listed above my 2 favorite for exterior styling were the Eclipse Cross and the Envista. Interior and Dashboard wise my favorites were the Eclipse Cross, 500E, Corolla, Jetta and Bolt. In the end the Eclipse Cross won out because I just loved the exterior look of it soooo much and I loved the familiar dash layout and premium interior materials with soft touch dash, doors and so on. The only negative with the interior is the piano black trim but it was the same issue in my Kicks and I ordered the custom fit $279.00 dash trim kit that are custom fit actual trim like pieces in the color or material of your choice to overlay on the piano black trim pieces and it is no longer and issue. We have the dash trim kit on our 2019 Eclipse Cross as well. Designer Trim sells them and they last the life of the vehicle and for my 2026 Eclipse Cross I did it in Forged Carbon Fiber and it looks like it was factory made and applied. Simple. So anyway back to where I was, after 3 years with the Kicks I knew I was going with a Mitsubishi and was down to a 2026 Eclipse Cross SEL Touring S-AWC or a 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander SE S-AWC. After looking at both and sitting in both it was clear I liked the Eclipse Cross better. Why I chose the Eclipse Cross over the Outlander. 1. I liked the interior design of the Eclipse Cross better how it felt more like a cockpit and surrounded you were as the Outlander felt more open and straight across in width inside more like a family vehicle. 2. I liked the exterior styling far better on the new Eclipse Cross as it looked way more sporty (don't care if it is sporty it's about styling to me) and modern compared to the Outlander from all angles but especially the front end. Wow I just love the styling of the Eclipse Cross. Also I liked the 18 inch alloy wheel design and ride quality better on the Eclipse Cross than the 20 inch wheels on the Outlander that have such a low profile and would hurt ride quality. 3. I liked the sunroof design of the Eclipse Cross far better having two separate interior glass panels with the front one opening and the rear one being a glass panel. I liked too that it had two separate shades for the front and rear and the rear passenger could open or close theirs anytime they wanted with the control they can reach and both shades are power. In the Outlander it was a much larger glass roof that had a bar across it but was more like one huge panel and one large shade. It gets so hot inside my car sitting in a parking lot all day at work and that glass panel is huge and let's in a lot of heat. With the Outlander the SE without sunroof met all my feature needs and the SE Tech added the sunroof, 12 speaker audio and digital gauges which I did not care about so I was good with a Outlander SE or SE Tech. I rarely use a sunroof but I will use the Eclipse Crosses more just because it's overall design meets my wants and needs better with the smaller openings and dual shade design. Now the Outlander did have 2 things I really liked such as the headlight washers and rear seat a/c vents. I would trade the heated rear seats on the Eclipse across SEL Touring for rear a/c vents. As for my trade it was a 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium that I had 3 years and only put 8,000 miles on it. It was like new. KBB showed my "Very Good" Trade In Value around $19,700 yet with Mitsubishi giving 125% for trade ins they gave me $23,500.00 for my Kicks which was the retail value! I was shocked. Then the new 2026 Eclipse Cross SEL Touring loaded top trim had over $6,000.00 of the MSRP from dealer discounts, factory rebates and the Mitsubishi loyalty rebate. After going and picking up my new Eclipse Cross and driving it for the first time I was completely stunned at how refined and smooth it was. Compared to our 2019 Eclipse Cross SEL Touring it is night and day. To me the difference was so noticable it was like going from a Mainstream Vehicle to a Luxury Touring Vehicle. The ride quality is so much smoother and plush that I can't believe it is the same platform still. Going over expansion joints, bumps and pot holes the absorption is way smoother and feels more rubber like where the 2019 feels more wooden like is the best way to describe it lol. Then after the impact there is no more suspension chatter and jumping and hopping around in the 2026 like our 2019 does on rough roads and now it just feels completely settled and plush. So right away I noticed how much time and effort Mitsubishi put into refining this vehicle and it paid off it really did. I know I have said it but I cannot get over how quiet and refined it is to drive the 2026 Eclipse Cross and to cruise at 80 mph is no effort at all for the vehicle. As for other updates you can even tell how much more plush and premium feeling the leather is compared to earlier versions like the 2018-2020. The rear seat is way more comfortable too with the taller back rests and non intrusive normal styles headrests it now has. The cargo area is larger and has an 11% longer cargo floor and it is noticeable side by side with our 2019 and 2026. Rear visibility is far better with the one rear window although I think the split rear window on the early versions looked really neat. I love the added features on the top trim 2026 SEL Touring that our 2019 SEL Touring does not have like the power passenger seat, power liftgate, backlit window switches, all window switches are marked, red interior accent lighting throughout, rear USB ports, larger 8 inch touchscreen vs the 7 inch touchscreen of the older model and some newer base ES trim years, the screen is moved 2 inches closer now and adds a volume and tuning knob, cleaned up the center console by removing the track pad and moving the parking brake switch forward for easier reach and centered the cup holders. - 5.0
Love My Eclipse Cross!

I have a 2025 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SE with 17K miles. I have the suede seats which are extremely comfortable, and the heated seats are great in the winter. A lot of people complain about the acceleration and gas mileage. I personally am very happy. I usually average between 30-33 mpg. The acceleration is more than enough for daily and regular highway driving. My Android Auto, backup camera, blind spot monitors, etc all work great. The only minor issue I have had is with the tailgate. The interior button does not work. All in all not a big deal as I can just open it normally while standing at the tailgate. I also love my automatic folding mirrors. It makes it so easy at the car wash, and I like how they automatically fold in when I lock the doors. The headlights are fantastic, I have much better visibility when driving at night than in previous vehicles I have owned. My car handles very well and I feel safe driving on the highway, in the rain, etc. I purchased slightly used from Carvana and got a great deal. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I upgraded from a 2021 Kia Soul S just for reference. - 5.0
Comfortable and Roomy

I bought the Eclipse SUV the year it was released. This vehicle has provided me with comfort and plenty of room when traveling with my two dogs or when I am shopping. I have also hauled multiple bags of animal feed also. This easy to clean and economical on fuel. I live on a gravel road and it drives well, also when snow is on the ground. It has proven to be a great car to drive back and forth to work.
